Give Me Back MY PULSE.

To put it simply: I've been without a pulse. Finals week engulfed me. A roadtrip across the country exhausted me. I finished school, moved to Durango, Colorado, and have been working ten hours a day every day since. I'm sick, tired, and I need to blog.

So..fresh from my new digs in D-Town, let's get back to the basics. Here's how sad it is...I've been given late night access to the local newspaper office (thanks to the Durango Herald Sports Staff) and I can't find the Cardinals on the TV. Why the hell aren't the Cardinals televised all across the world? The lack of respect for the World Champs is disgusting. I could care less about the Suns-Spurs or the Cavs-Nets. The NBA sucks. I want the Cardinals.

So..I need help. Until today, I've had no internet access. Local sports radio only gives the score of the Cardinal game, no details provided. Three consective shutouts? Two for the other team. Nasty. Who's been doing what?
*Is Albert a king once again?
*Has Jimmy got RBI number 2 yet?
*Is Duncan still mashing? Does our pitching staff still look like pigs rolling in shi*?
*Have any of you naysayers given in and adopted the name "Ballgame" for Scotty Rolen yet?

Can anybody help? I'll get back in the mix, I promise. But for now, I need help catching help. And can any of you with mad smarts and wiring capability somehow wire the Cardinal game to the drive-in theater screen located behind my house? With our technology, surely this can be done. By tomorrow.

Not that anybody cares, but I have my first softball game on Wednesday night. Any predictions?

Sincerely,
Lost

Dear Lost, on behalf of the Cardinals organization, you may want to look into becoming a Rockies fan. Sincerely, Abby.

I just want to get a quick NBA comment in (sorry to everyone who hates it). The Suns got royaly screwed and David Stern is quite possibly one of the dumbest humans in the world. Bruce Bowen should be locked up, he is no better than Ron Artest. Tim Duncan might be the biggest baby in sports, whining after every call. And when San Antonio finally wins the Finals because of all the help the NBA keeps giving them, there should be a gigantic asterick next to it in the record books.

AMEN, ANONYMOUS!!!! Bruce Bowen is a joke. How many times are we going to have to watch him take cheap shots at other players before he actually gets punished. I'm tired of seeing all these hard fouls in the playoffs. The Warriors, as much as I like them, are completely out of control, and the Spurs should be ashamed of themselves after proving Amare Stoudemire RIGHT about the team being dirty. The hit Bob Horry took on Steve Nash was something you see in hockey. The funny thing is, Poppovich (spelling?) said he didn't even think it was a hard foul. GET REAL, NBA!!!

Suns are holding there own against the NBA Spurs. Kicking their ass at halftime. Go Suns!

Tough loss for the Suns. That's what happens when you get screwed over by the NBA, I guess.

I can't hardly watch the NBA without becoming thoroughly pissed off. I liked watching the Warriors becuase they were the underdog story, so I can't say that I completely ignore it. However, after every call, every whistle, every dribble, some loud mouthed idiot is running his flappers about something. I can't stand it! I can't watch it anymore! What happened to the zero tolerance rule? The NBA should move to Mexico, and should sign a contract with a crap TV station so no one can watch their bullspit... like hockey. Im glad I'm seeing less hockey too. NBA, NHL, get the hell outa here.
