Getting hosed by the weather, huh? All those pretty face-painted boys and girls who were ready to throw down against the other Dogs tonight are going to have to wait 24more hours, huh?
Can you handle it? Are you munching on all the snacks around the house? Are you staying up late, watching Jay Leno and laughing even though nothing is funny? I'm not talking about the players, or the coaches, or the parents. I'm talking about the bloggers who have consistently been at it on this web site for over a month now. Is the wait killing you?
How does it feel to know that within 24 hours you'll either be rejoicing in triumph or trying quickly to come up with excuses for your previous posts?
I'll be tuned in tomorrow night on the KFVS webcast. I'll do my best to dish out some thoughts as they go for any of you chumps that missed out on a ticket and want someone to talk to during the game.
Get ready. I hear this is the biggest and most hyped high school game in Southeast Missouri in many a year. May the best Dogs win.

The excitement for the game is definitely at a high. Two great teams continuing a bitter rivalry. I personally hope the red dogs come out on top, but know deep down this game is going to be a coin flip. You are right on the lame-ass excuses we may here either way, but the bottom line is no matter who you root for, these are two of the best teams in the state and they do have a great amount of respect for one another. No excuses, may the best team win and then go on to bring a state title back to SEMO.
Yes, all around the town, and I imagine Cape as well, this is being said to be one of the most anticipated games in Missouri Basketball for years to come... Glad I'l be there to see it
Sort of like a Cardinal baseball game...do you want to go to the game and fight a huge crowd and not get to see some key play due to the fallacy of composition (when one stands up to see better, everyone stands up to see better, and no one gains an advantage); or, do you sit home and watch the game to ensure that you see every play. What a dilemma!
I just hope the Bulldogs win! Wait a minute.....
Im glad I slept in a tent last night in the Perry Parks Center parking lot to make sure none of the Notre Dame faculty would get there early to pay fans to cheer for them, and bribe grade school kids with candy bars and quarters to come to The Dame to play sports...
Good luck to both teams. But I have one thing to say. GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Sikeston!!!!!!!!
